WHY pinecone art

I didn't choose pinecones as my medium. I have a continuous supply of pinecones. The pinecones come from my trees. I just saw the possibility of what a pinecone can become. I use what is available and even on a 2 acre property - the possible materials are in abundance, if you see it for what it can be- not just as yard rubbish. The possible creations using pinecones is endless. Thats why I love working with pinecones..

The challenging aspect of making original 1 of 1 pieces: when multiple people want that piece, I know I can make another, but inevitably, it will not be identical... makes me feel bad that I cant make
