Audrey Hepburn pinecone cottagecore artpiece
This 1:6 scale model of Audrey Hepburn in the Ascot race scene, may be the only of it's kind made from pinecones. This art piece used two pinecones, finely shaped to make the body for Audrey. Her head is acorn, using palm fiber for hair, she is wearing it in a twisted updo. Her iconic hat is made from botanical and acorn cap and adorned with similar embellishments as in the movie scene. This iconic dress is world famous and this Treegirl version asserts subtle differences from the original costume while maintaining the iconic attributes.
The gown is a skillful layering of four different laces then trimmed with the highly recognizeable black and white striped trim. Her parasol and goose down pouf are handmade for this look and again inspired by the original but with artistic variations.
This fun and glamorous piece stands about 10" tall and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, description card, and display stand for immediate viewing.
This is a display art piece. The body is in a static pose. The costume is both glued and sewn to the figure and cannot be altered without damage to the piece. Not intended for children. This work will retain it's splendor and beauty for a lifetime if displayed out of direct constant sunlight, to prevent fabric from fading.
