Cottagecore pinecone Peruvian art
Such a detailed pinecone sculpture at about 9" tall. This piece depicts a Peruvian woman in traditional dress carrying a baby Alpaca in a shoulder sling and leading her weanling Alpaca to the annual Alpaca festival in Peru's Sacred Valley. This little lady features a cork and corn husk hat fit atop her palm fiber braided hair. Her skirt is 3 layers of strong colors with the revered pom-poms with all the exciting color and affects one would see in the Andes mountains. Her Alpaca is made from a single pinecone, acorn cap neck extension and head. Small pine petals for the ears, magnolia stamen for legs and dried flora for the tail. Such a fantastic art piece that will stir wonder and smiles for many years to come.
This is a display art piece. The body is in a static pose. The costume is both glued and sewn to the figure and cannot be altered without damage to the piece. Not intended for children. This work will retain it's splendor and beauty for a lifetime if displayed out of direct constant sunlight, to prevent fabric from fading.
